Today we celebrate Principal Appreciation Day, and there’s no better time to recognize the incredible leadership of Mrs. Werner! Mrs. Werner is the heart of our school—dedicated, compassionate, inspiring, and endlessly supportive. Her vision, tireless energy, and unwavering commitment to student success create a school culture where every Bullpup feels safe, seen, and ready to learn. Whether she’s leading with a smile, encouraging our staff, or building strong relationships with students and families, she makes a difference every single day. Today’s Pep Rally Was a Blast! Our Bullpups brought the energy as we celebrated a year full of hard work, learning, and growth! Today’s pep rally was all about recognizing the amazing effort our students have put in—and getting pumped up to rock the test! We cheered, blasted confetti, and reminded each other that we are ready to shine! The message was loud and clear: You’ve got this! 🐾❤️🎉 As we head into state testing, don’t forget these important tips to help you do your very best: 1. Get a good night’s sleep — your brain needs rest to do its best! 🌙 2. Eat a healthy breakfast — fuel up with something nutritious each morning. 🍎🥣 3. Be on time — arriving on time means you start the day calm, confident, and ready to focus. ⏰ 4. Believe in yourself — you’ve worked hard and you’re ready! 💪✨ Let’s show what we know and make ourselves proud. Let’s ROCK THE TEST, BULLPUPS! 🐾🎈❤️

Mrs. McDonald’s class took a special “on campus” field trip to visit Mrs. Vandergriff’s room… and guess what they found? Baby chicks! Her class just wrapped up their unit on Chickens and Eggs, so getting to meet these 5 fluffy little friends was the perfect way to bring their learning to life! Thank you, Mrs. Vandergriff, for letting Mrs. McDonald's Pre-K class have this hands-on (and heartwarming) experience! Peep, peep… it was an egg-cellent day! 🐣🐥❤️

Mrs. McDonald’s PreK Celebrates Earth Day! 🌎 ❤️🐾 Our young learners had an exciting day full of Earth Day fun and learning! With help from Ms. Kramer, we created our very own miniature light-up Earths—such a bright way to show love for our planet! We also had the incredible opportunity to video chat with Marine Biologist and Environmental Biologist Melinda McDonald, all the way from Orange Beach, Alabama. She taught us the importance of “leaving only footprints” and taking care of our beaches and oceans. Our PreK students asked thoughtful questions and showed so much curiosity—what a wonderful way to celebrate Earth Day!🌎 ❤️🐾

Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Today, we give a big THANK YOU to our amazing bus drivers who safely transport our Bullpups to and from school each day! 🚌💛 Rain or shine, early mornings and busy afternoons—you’re always there with a smile, a wave, and a caring heart. ☀️🌧️ Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for the important role you play in our school community. 👏🏼 Thank you for all you do for our students and families—today and every day!

📦 Time to Turn Them In! Chromebook Collection is Coming! The end of the school year is right around the corner, and it’s time to get those Chromebooks ready for return. Here’s what you need to know to make the process quick and smooth: ✅ What to Do Before You Turn In Your Device Remove all stickers and decorations ➤ Don’t forget to clean off any sticky residue! ➤ A safe way to clean: use a slightly damp cloth (water only) — no chemicals or sprays! ➤ Check that your device is fully charged (100%) ➤ Turn in your charger ➤ Must include both parts: the brick and the cable! ➤ Report damage early ➤ If your device isn’t working or is damaged, turn it in now — don’t wait for collection day! ➤ Ask questions? ➤ See your school’s Media Specialist for help.

What a show-stopping night at our Spring Showcase! Our talented students wowed the crowd with incredible performances from: Bullpup Cheerleaders, Jammin’ Bullpup Instrument Club, Bullpup Chorus, and the Drama Club’s magical performance of Cinderella, If the Shoe Fits! A huge shoutout to Mrs. Taylor for leading these amazing performance groups — your creativity and dedication truly shined on stage! And a big thank you to Ms. Kia for building such a fabulous cheerleading program — our Bullpup spirit was on full display! We are so proud of every performer who brought energy, heart, and talent to the stage. You rocked it, Bullpups! Bravo to all — let’s give them a standing ovation!

Today, Mrs. McDonald’s and Mrs. Kahn’s VPK classes hopped over to Brookdale Senior Living for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt and a heartwarming visit with the residents! Our littlest Bullpups had a blast hunting for eggs 🐣, sharing smiles 🌸, and spreading kindness ❤️. It was a beautiful day of connection, joy, and springtime magic 🌷🐰. A big thank you to the wonderful residents and staff at Brookdale for welcoming us with open arms — and to our amazing VPK teachers for making these special moments happen!

First Responder Day + Cops on Campus = A Day to Remember! Today was full of learning, leadership, and lots of fun as we celebrated 1st Responder Day and welcomed Cops on Campus! Our students had a blast participating in field-day-style events led by the incredible Tavares Police Department. Third grade classes dove into themed lessons about police officers and firefighters—what a great way to connect learning with real-world heroes! A big shoutout to our amazing SRO, Officer Martin, who wrapped up the day with a powerful presentation on bullying awareness and prevention. We are so thankful for the dedication and service of our first responders—and for the meaningful connections they build with our students every day!

🌸🐣 Hoppin’ into spring fun! 🐰💐 Mrs. Pearson’s Pre-K class had an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt today! The kiddos had a blast searching high and low for colorful eggs, giggling with friends, and enjoying the sunshine. Smiles, laughter, and lots of joy filled the day—what a wonderful way to celebrate the season! 💛🌷
