We’re proud of our students for taking part in an engaging KTL workshop! 🙌
In partnership with Be Free Lake (Lake County’s Drug Prevention Coalition), Mount Dora Middle School teachers, Ms. Lopez and Mrs. Smith, and School Resource Officer, Officer Buzzard, helped students learn about the law and the difference between misdemeanors and felonies. The workshop also explored crimes against people, crimes against property, and the consequences of drug and alcohol possession.
The best news? **100% of students showed an increase in their understanding of the laws and the consequences for breaking them.** 🎉
Thank you to our partners for helping students build knowledge that supports informed, responsible choices! đź’™
