Assistant Principals

Mr. Gary Locuson

Welcome, Mount Dora Middle Families!

I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve as one of the Assistant Principals here at Mount Dora Middle School. It is an honor to work together as a community to provide the highest-quality instruction for all of our students. As I enter this school year, I am excited for what lies ahead.

As a longtime Lake County resident, I have had the privilege of continuing my learning in many roles: as a student, teacher, instructional dean, assistant principal at Sorrento, and now at Mount Dora.

I am grateful for the experiences I have had and relationships I have built at Sorrento Elementary and look forward to continuing with our partnerships in this next season. I am excited to begin this new journey serving Mount Dora Middle School and the Mount Dora community.

I look forward to working with you all and continuing the amazing work happening here at Mount Dora Middle. #GoEagles

Best Regards,

Gary Locuson
