Students do not need to bring athletic equipment, such as balls, to school for P.E. class. If a student brings to school any athletic equipment or bulky item please check it in with the front office staff (band instruments are often checked in with band teacher in the morning).
Kennedy Space Center Field Trip

This is a reminder for parents/guardians of students who submitted their money and paperwork already. The eighth grade will be going on a field trip to Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral on February 13, 2020. They will be departing from the school at 8:30 am and expect to return around 3:30 pm. In order to be eligible to participate students may NOT have library fines, receive any OSS, have more than 2 (two) ISS or bus suspensions, or receive MORE THAN 2 (two) referrals during the first semester. Students will follow the school dress code policy while keeping in mind that this is an outdoor event and specific outdoor exceptions noted in the code will be permitted. Students may request a lunch from the school, bring a lunch from home, or purchase lunch from the food court at the Space Center. Students may purchase souvenirs.
The eighth grade will be taking a celebratory trip to Universal Studios on May, 1, 2020. They will be departing from the school at 3:30 pm and expect to return around 1:00 am. In order to be eligible to participate students may NOT have library fines, receive any OSS, have more than 2 (two) ISS or bus suspensions, or receive MORE THAN 2 (two) referrals between December 2, 2019 and May 29, 2020. We will be posting more information on this event as the time gets closer.
Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony
Our Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony will be held on campus Wednesday, May 27, 2020. The ceremony will start at 9:45 am and end around 11:30 am. Due to capacity issues only 2 (two) tickets are allowed per student. We will post more information about the Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony and the Eighth Grade Promotion Party as the time gets closer.
